This was my first Libby Page book, and now I completely understand the hype. If you’re a book lover, this story feels especially personal as each month brings a new title and a meaningful experience inspired by it (and yes, I was absolutely taking notes 👀). I loved following Tilly’s adventures and seeing how each story she read helped her process her grief and reconnect with the world.
And we need to talk about Alfie 🥹 — the bookshop owner who completely stole my heart. I mean… a kind, supportive man who runs a bookstore? Say less.
At its core, this is a feel-good, comforting read that gently reminds you it’s never too late to start living again, even after loss.
