Once again, there are no titles that made it into the top ten of all five of the biggest bestseller lists this week. Two titles made it onto four: The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins in a repeat from last week, and a new title from prolific author David Baldacci, Strangers in Time.
Remember how we said Rebecca Yarros’s reign over the bestseller list seemed to have ended? The dragons rallied and put two of the Empyrean books back on the list. That’ll show us!
This list continues to lack of diversity on many levels, including being disproportionately by white authors. Will we ever get to leave out this explainer? We hope so. Some Indie Bestsellers you should know about are Audition by Katie Kitamura, The Backyard Bird Chronicles by Amy Tan, James by Percival Everett, and The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer, illustrated by John Burgoyne.
To get these numbers, we look at the USA Today overall top 10; Publishers Weekly overall top 10; The New York Times top 10, both Combined Print & E-Book Fiction and Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction lists; Amazon Charts top 10, both Fiction and Nonfiction; and Indie Bestsellers top 10, Fiction and Nonfiction, both Paperback and Hardcover. New additions to the list this week are bolded.
