All She Ever Wanted
This one caught my eye as part of the “Customers Also Bought” section on Amazon because of the cover.
Greenwood 1920
Eulalie Hopewell has spent her entire life being the perfect daughter. As the middle child to Greenwood’s beloved baptist preacher, she’s always done what everyone expects; except when it comes to Vernon, her childhood love.
Vernon Jackson had always been considered a troublemaker growing up in Greenwood. After a falling out with his sister, he’s focused on getting his life together to become a better man. Even after cutting out drinking and carousing, everyone in the town has a hard time believing he’s changed. Everyone except Eulalie.
After being separated for ten years they reunite, and Vernon learns of Eulalie’s engagement to a businessman named Samuel. Despite the pending nuptials, Vernon can’t seem to stay away from her. Eulalie can’t avoid the pull she feels toward Vernon, but she will do anything for her family’s approval. Even if that means marrying the wrong man.
Will they be able to fight the attraction they feel for one another and live life how it’s supposed to be, or will Vernon become…

It’s All in the Hips
This one was mentioned in author Adriana Anders’s latest newsletter!
A one-night stand so hot, even a decade apart couldn’t cool the flames.
Winning the Fit for The World prize money is Yolanda Vasquez’s last chance at saving her family business. But she’ll have to face show creator Easton Blake––a steamy one-night stand she’s never forgotten––while also taking on the big kids of fitness. One of whom isn’t playing fair.
Yolanda Vasquez
Ten-plus years ago, I spent one glorious night with a hot stranger visiting Puerto Rico. Today, that heartthrob is a global health icon giving away millions on a reality fitness show. I really need that money to rescue my family business, am pretty sure I can win, and mostly sure he won’t remember me.Easton Blake
I spent a decade building Fit for The World gym franchises, but after a reputation-ruining mistake, my board wants me out. Vowing to repair my image on a groundbreaking reality show is a huge gamble. One that turns dicey when the hottest hookup of my life makes the competition, and the other contestants quickly see her as a threat. Yeah. This can’t be what my board meant by reviving my public persona.Knowing the disaster any romance would bring, Easton and Yolanda struggle to ignore their flaming-hot chemistry, but when someone schemes to drive Yolanda from the show, they join forces to stop them. Will their undeniable heat catch fire and burn down their worlds before they can eliminate the threat?

Notes from a Regicide
This was Goodreads banner ad and I was definitely caught by the description of a “trans family saga.”
Notes from a Regicide is a heartbreaking story of trans self-discovery with a rich relatability and a science-fictional twist from award-winning author Isaac Fellman.
When your parents die, you find out who they really were.
Griffon Keming’s second parents saved him from his abusive family. They taught him how to be trans, paid for his transition, and tried to love him as best they could. But Griffon’s new parents had troubles of their own – both were deeply scarred by the lives they lived before Griffon, the struggles they faced to become themselves, and the failed revolution that drove them from their homeland. When they died, they left an unfillable hole in his heart.
Griffon’s best clue to his parents’ lives is in his father’s journal, written from a jail cell while he awaited execution. Stained with blood, grief, and tears, these pages struggle to contain the love story of two artists on fire. With the journal in hand, Griffon hopes to pin down his relationship to these wonderful and strange people for whom time always seemed to be running out.
In Notes from a Regicide, a trans family saga set in a far-off, familiar future, Isaac Fellman goes beyond the concept of found family to examine how deeply we can be healed and hurt by those we choose to love.

The Science of Beauty reveals the truth behind the bold marketing claims and viral TikTok trends and tells you what you really need to know about the products you use every day, form good habits, and learn what really works. Decipher the ingredients that make up your favorite shampoo, find out the facts about tweakments and chemical peels, and discover whether beauty brands can ever be truly sustainable.
