Reader Question – The historical romance book where she’s in search of her family, is robbed & rescued by a Lord

Rita needs our book help! Ohhhh could this be a case of unrequited love?

She asks:

Hello Maryse,

I am trying to find a Historical romance book where the FMC is an orphan who came to London for the first time alone in search of family, she was robbed I think, and rescued by the MMC, a Lord and became his mistress.

Later she was found by her grandfather who is also a Lord (Marquis maybe 🤔 ) and he tried to force the MMC to marry her for compromising her. MMC gets mad and feels betrayed but still fulfills his responsibility.

I would really appreciate any help in finding this book because I have been going out of my mind searching everywhere.
