I either read it in the late 80’s or early 90’s. It was either a mills and boons, silhouette or harlequin book. It was a a large book, not a skinny mills and boons.

It’s about a woman that wakes up in hospital with amnesia. They have a young son that she can’t remember either. It is set in England and the husband is very rich and they live in a large house or estate. She had left him because she was driven out by others influence. The husband has to help shower her as initially she was unable to take care of herself, maybe in a wheelchair.

Her husband is very angry with her but still loves her. She regains her memory. Possibly husband family poisoned her against her husband??

Are you able to please help me find this book?! It’s been a mystery I haven’t been able to let go of. I’m 50 and started reading romance when I 15!
