With the new month comes a new list of books to get excited about, and our friends at Libby have compiled a list of the books coming out in April that they’re most looking forward to.
The list comes courtesy of Madison Stoneburner Simon, who discussed her most anticipated April books on the Professional Book Nerds podcast with cohost Joe. They covered everything from Emily Henry’s latest romance (Great Big Beautiful Life) to the follow-up to a feel-good bestselling Japanese book that follows a book-saving cat (The Cat Who Saved the Library by Sosuke Natsukawa, translated by Louise Heal Kawai).
Some of the books they discussed—as well as an extended list—are included below:
Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
The Cat Who Saved the Library by Sosuke Natsukawa, translated by Louise Heal Kawai
Gifted & Talented by Olivie Blake
Julie Chan Is Dead by Liann Zhang
The Book of Alchemy by Suleika Jaouad
Happy Land by Dolen Perkins-Valdez
Vera Wong’s Guide to Snooping (on a Dead Man) by Jesse Q. Sutanto
Flirting Lessons by Jasmine Guillory
Audition by Katie Kitamura
How to Seal Your Own Fate by Kristen Perrin
The Amalfi Curse by Sarah Penner
Matriarch by Tina Knowles
Boat Baby by Vicky Nguyen
Huda F Wants to Know? by Huda Fahmy
