Hope Lanover needs a vacation. Her relationship has imploded, her job is stressful, and she's stuck in a creative slump. So when her best friend invites her on a luxury cruise, she goes along with it, despite not being a cruise person. Hope is prepared to grin and bear it, until she locks eyes at check-in with Felix Segrave. Suddenly ten days on a cruise doesn’t seem so bad, if it means a fling with a sexy stranger. But when a huge fight leaves them stranded in paradise, they must work together—and share a bed—to make their way home. Can they navigate the stormy seas of love or will they face romantic shipwreck?

New to the bestseller lists this week are a couple of dark new releases. First up, there’s Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V. E. Schwab, a vampire gothic from the author of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, the Shades of Magic series, and many other fan-favorite novels. The other title debuting on this list is Caught Up by Navessa Allen, the second book in the dark romance series that started with Lights Out.

This list continues to lack of diversity on many levels, including being disproportionately by white authors. Some Indie Bestsellers you should know about are King of Ashes by S.A. Cosby, The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong, and The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine by Rashid Khalidi.

To get these numbers, we look at the New York Times, both Combined Print & E-Book Fiction and Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction lists; Amazon Charts, both Fiction and Nonfiction; Publishers Weekly; and Indie Bestsellers, Fiction and Nonfiction, both Paperback and Hardcover. New additions to the list this week are bolded.
