Have you ever wondered how it would be to live inside the Witness Protection program? While watching movies, if a character is in this program, I wondered how it would feel. The poor victim has to leave their life to become another person, in order to stay alive. It’s so unfair, isn’t it?

In this Christian Romantic Suspense, Targeted in the Swamp, Laurel Bell opens the story being chased through the woods and nearly drowned in the Black Ash Swamp. It seems that someone from her past has come back to kill her. Thankfully, Heath Calhoun answered the radio call and came to her rescue.

This was only the beginning to the terror felt by Laurel as she and Heath tried to get away from the man she almost killed. As a child, she was with her father, who was a policeman. He was fighting a crime family and was killed for it. She grabbed her father’s weapon and severely injured the man. Now, he’s broken free from jail and wants revenge.

The suspenseful and exciting book provide the reader with a fast-paced journey. Heath has lost his wife and is raising his daughter. He now is linked and the criminal might seek revenge on his family. Despite the stress, Heath keeps a level head and is able to protect Laurel, but for how long?
