Welcome to the She Reads Everything 2026 Reading Challenge! Joining the challenge is a fantastic way to expand your horizons and explore new genres and literary forms. Whether you’re reading a print book, scrolling through an e-book, or listening to an audiobook, each format will uniquely shape your reading experience.

The Challenge

This year features 52 inspiring prompts—one for every week—but you can explore them in any order. The goal is to read one book per prompt, completing 52 books throughout the year. By participating, you’ll experience the richness of diverse literary media and delve into an array of genres and themes.

The Rules

There are no strict rules. Try to complete the following steps to get the most out of the experience:

  • Connect with She Reads Everything on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Goodreads, and X to stay updated and inspired.
  • Share your reading progress in the She Reads Everything Facebook Group and celebrate your achievements with fellow participants. A reading tracker is available for download from the Facebook Group.
  • Remember to use the hashtag #srereadingchallenge2026 when sharing your journey on social media.
  • Explore the list of prompts below and start planning how you’ll meet the challenge.
  • A book can count toward only one prompt.
  • Start on January 1, 2026, and finish no later than December 31, 2026.
  • Most importantly, enjoy the adventure!
