Proof of the Existence of God

Many people are conflicted because they believe that science has not “proven” the Existence of God. But science and faith are not mutually exclusive, in fact there is a great overlap – an intersection of the two,

This book presents Ten Observable, Verifiable, and Demonstrable facts confronting science and proving the existence of God – not one, not two, but ten!!! Any one set of these proofs would demonstrate it, but together they provide overwhelming, if not incontestable, evidence of the existence of God. Most of these phenomena have been authenticated as true, valid, and reliable evidence, however, they have been ignored by both science, the media, and the educational system at large.

It has been said that one day science will, itself, finally prove not only that God exists but that “the whole teaching of His incarnate Son, Jesus Christ, is correct.” This book is one step in the evolution of that science toward proving the Existence of God.

A recent poll showed that faith is on the decline. The survey showed that faith in Divinity, in God, Jesus, and in Heaven is lower than it has been in the past twenty years. Faith is decreasing, yet, God exists. Most people wake in the morning and give thanks for the gift of life. They witness the majesty of a sunrise or sunset. They know the magnificence of a butterfly, the wonder of a rainbow, the splendor of a beautiful bird, the grandeur of nature and the solemnity of life. They know and understand in the deepest recesses of their hearts that these are gifts from God.

While there are several reasons why there has been a decrease in faith, the discussion of this book will not address those reasons. It will instead address the primary issue: some people need to “See to believe.” Some people need actual proof to be able to reconfigure their minds and their hearts. They need proof to come to understand that there is a spiritual world which is “super-natural,” and that our “natural world” is subordinate or subject to that higher super-natural plane of existence.

The premise of this book is that, yes, God Exists. The biggest problem is that often there is an immediate and abrupt retort, “Well, science does not support the existence of God.” This is usually propaganda spread by the media and unfortunately people buy into it. If this is true then why have there been, and continue to be, thousands upon thousands of scientists, physicists, doctors, mathematicians, brain surgeons and rocket scientists that do believe in God?

Carl Sagan, the famous astronomer and professor once said, “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.” Now Sagan spoke of science of course, and this is speaking of a different arena of life, one based upon faith where “proof” is not necessary. Yet the truth is that there is extraordinary evidence available. There is extraordinary proof of the existence of God.

The two questions to answer, then, are, “Does a “supernatural realm” exist? Second, can there be an intersection – a cross – between the natural (physical) and the supernatural (spiritual) worlds?

The answer to both questions is yes. There is a phenomenon that is occurring and very few, if any, know and understand it. This book seeks to identify and explore that intersection. It positively concludes that yes, there is a supernatural realm, and yes, by its very nature it is proof positive of the existence of God.

Thus, there is proof of the existence of God and it is strange that many people clearly see it, while others including many scientists do not. Yet, to most people “proof” does not even matter because it is faith that carries, sustains, and strengthens. Proof is just a bonus.
