We have entered the height of wedding season, especially destination weddings for couples who are looking to use sunny weather and vacation time on their big day.
This left me thinking about engagements and weddings in romance novels: the former has you anticipating and rooting for something, and the latter opens the door for all the drama or shenanigans that can—and do happen—related to weddings, which adds an extra layer of fun to a romance. With that in mind, I have a (fake) proposal, a wedding planner, and a three-day wedding countdown!

This is one of my favorite romances this year, and I will continue to read anything Sonora Reyes writes. It’s a friends-to-lovers romance that also deals with serious topics with care.
