I feel like this would be the perfect book to pick up leading up to Halloween because you get three completely different stories and they all have such spooky vibes. Never Kill the Medium A thirtieth birthday dinner turns deadly after someone hires a medium for a playful séance. When the ritual spirals out of control and the medium dies, the guests cover it up—unaware that leaving the séance unfinished has allowed something dark to cross over. This one I rated four stars. This was a locked room mystery vibe with paranormal themes with a Medium (obviously) and demons etc. It was a fun one. I kind of wanted it to keep going after the last line. A few of the characters got a little annoying, but overall kept me interested.
