If you love high-stakes dystopian worlds with a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romance, Silver Elite absolutely delivers.
This story drops us into a dangerous world where psychic abilities are a death sentence, and survival depends on one thing: deception. Wren Darlington has spent her life hiding her powers and quietly supporting the rebellion, but when one mistake lands her inside the enemy’s elite military training program, everything changes.
This one starts full force and doesn’t let up. The action and tension just keep building, and I was hooked from the beginning. Watching Wren navigate Silver Block while hiding who she truly is had me completely invested.
And then there’s Cross Redden.
The dynamic between Wren and Cross is where this book really shines. Their relationship is intense, complicated, and full of that irresistible enemies-to-lovers energy. With everything working against them, I was constantly on edge—rooting for them while also bracing for things to go horribly wrong.
The stakes feel high throughout, and the emotional intensity kept me flipping pages. By the end, I was completely hooked… and then came that ending. Let’s just say you will be left waiting (impatiently) for book two.
This gave me strong Divergent vibes, but with a more mature tone and a sharper romantic edge.
I’m already looking forward to a reread because I know there are details I missed the first time around.
If you’re into dystopian romance, forced proximity, and high-stakes secrets, this one is definitely worth picking up.
