Reader Question – The religious historical romance about Rahab & Salmon & he covers her with his tunic to claim her…

Tinya is looking for this one! Ohhh a historical religious romance!! I definitely have not read this but maybe someone knows it?

She asks:

Years ago, I read a book about Rahab & Salmon.

It starts with Rahab as a child. She has vibrant red hair and believed to be touched by the gods. She helps in healing a boy. Once she is of age she is sent to the temple and basically made a prostitute.

When she ages out she is given an inn on the wall. This is when she meets the spies, etc.

Then the book goes into how her and Salmon fall in love. Her family deciding to live with the Israelites or leave, etc. It is a beautifully written love story. Not by Francine Rivers but better in my opinion.

There is a part where Salmon covers her with his tunic to stake claim. Also, she is the one to tell Joshua the caravan men lied to him.

I got the book from one of those monthly book services over 20 years ago.

Does anyone know the name/author?
