In case you’re new to Booklist Queen, every month I cover all the hottest new book releases. I try to read as many new book releases as I can to give you an honest perspective on what to read and what to skip. 

However, I realize that my to-read list might not exactly match yours. That’s why I’ve also included some of the most popular March 2025 book releases from your favorite authors.

Considering how much I hated Katy Hays’ debut The Cloisters, I’m surprised I picked this one up but I’m glad I did. The sunny Capri setting belied the darker side of the family, whose overcontrolling ways leave you certain that someone is guilty. With plenty of red herrings, twists, and family drama, Saltwater was an entertaining read, although its mystery was extremely convoluted.

Although I adored the movie, I’m not sure if I know anyone who liked Maguire’s original novel so I’m not sure if I’ll read this March 2025 book release.
