HaBO: It’s Not The Love Hypothesis

Help A Bitch Out This HaBO is from Julia, who is hoping to find this contemporary romance: This HaBO is a bit weird because I thought I had read The Love Hypothesis until I saw the trailer and realised that it couldn’t be the book I read because one of the members of the couple is Asian and neither of those actors are. The books are clearly pretty similar though and that has I think really stopped me from finding the right book. I don’t own The Love Hypothesis and never marked it as read on Goodreads. My memory of this one is there is a scientist or PhD researcher working in a lab setting, but I don’t know what kind of science. She is very tall and I am pretty sure she is half East Asian (I think Japanese but really could not be certain). She has a romance with a more senior male scientist. I cannot remember if he is her direct supervisor or not, but she is definitely impressed by his scientific background. I actually can’t remember the trope of how they get together or if it is spicy or slow burn. H e’s definitely described as very handsome while she feels awkward and is a little nerdgirlcore.
