MY REVIEW

If you love suspense with a little clean romance, I’m sure you’ll love all the Love Inspired Suspense books. I’ve read so many ot them and they are real page-turners.

Guarding the Child Witness sounded exciting and it is! In this book one little boy is the key to finding a serial killer and arsonist. Jaysa Camerota is a stage trooper working hard with her dog Remy to have a special unit. As she is intentionally hit on the highway, she gets out to gunshots. Below, he has also run another car off the road. Jaysa calls for backup and an ambulance as the driver is unconcious and her little boy is in the backseat.

Her boss brings in her ex-fiance Edmund Hammett, who left the troopers to become a child social worker. The boys father is dead and the mother hanging onto life. Their job is to find out who did this and bring them to justice. Unfortunately, the little boy named Trevor is unable to speak. The shock of seeing the murder has traumatized him.

As Jaysa and Edmund struggle to work together, they come to one dangerous end to another. It seems like this complex case can’t be solved, even though they seem to find numerous connections. Who is also in danger? You’ll find this book easy to read and suspenseful to the end.
