2027 Latine YA Books for Your TBR

There are still a few days left to celebrate Hispanic/Latine Heritage Month, and without question, there’s no better time to start looking ahead to the amazing Latine YA books that will be published in 2027. Every year, I love pulling this preview together, as it’s an opportunity to both reflect on the current state of publishing for Latine literature and to see how many more voices are being brought into the world. It’s still far from representative of Latine voices in America, but compared to where we were even 10 years ago, the range of options is so much bigger. This roundup of forthcoming 2027 Latine YA books is far from comprehensive. Given that most publishing catalogs available right now are for spring and summer next year, this preview will miss fall releases. It will also miss other releases, simply because it’s so early and because for new authors, it can be challenging to determine identity if they’ve not included it in their author bios or social media.
